This program is designed to be more than just an initiative; it's a quest for change. By actively identifying, supporting, and scaling startups with transformative solutions, we aim to build a future where clean air is not just a quest, but a reality.
Who is leading the Quest for Clean Air?
The Quest for Clean Air is led by Maruti Suzuki in collaboration with IIT Delhi. This partnership aims to leverage academic research and industry expertise to drive innovative solutions for air quality improvement.
Who can apply for Maruti Suzuki Quest for Clean Air program?
Startups working on clean air technologies with operational experience of at least 6 months, and teams with demonstrated traction or proof of concept can apply.
What is the program process and duration?
The application window opens for 4-5 weeks following which the selection process includes application screening, expert panel review, pitch presentations, and final selection. This is followed by a 12-week capacity development phase, including access to IIT Delhi laboratories, mentorship from industry experts, IIT Delhi faculty, and business leaders from Maruti Suzuki, technical workshops, business development sessions, and direct pathways to market implementation. Finally, the program closes with an Innovation Day.
Do startups retain intellectual property rights?
Yes, startups retain full intellectual property rights while receiving comprehensive support. The program provides IP protection guidance, patent filing assistance, and technology licensing support without claiming ownership of your innovations.
What kind of technical support is available?
Startups get access to state-of-the-art research facilities at IIT Delhi, environmental testing equipment, prototype development workshops, 3D printing facilities, electronics labs, and technical mentorship from IIT faculty and Maruti Suzuki experts.
