Here Are The Shortlisted Startups

For the cohort of the MAIL programme, the company has selected four startups.

Maruti Suzuki is now engaged with nine startups under its MAIL initiative.

MAIL is to identify innovative and cutting-edge solutions in mobility and automobile space.

One of the leading automobile companies, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, under its Mobility and Automobile Innovation Lab (MAIL) programme, has now accelerated four more startups.

The company announced that MAIL is an initiative by Maruti Suzuki to identify and bring together startups with innovative and cutting-edge solutions, to collaborate for open innovation in mobility and automobile space.

Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “With rapid changes in the business environment, technology-led innovations are need of the hour. Working with startups, providing them with a platform and co-creating business solutions helps Maruti Suzuki generate new business solutions much faster.”

Initially launched in January 2019, the MAIL programme identifies and brings together startups with innovative and cutting-edge solutions and collaborates with them for bringing innovation in the areas of connected cars, shared mobility, autonomous cars, electric vehicle, and its infrastructure etc.

The latest batch of four startups underwent an extensive selection exercise involving screening and pitch sessions. They also received mentorship from the domestic and international startup ecosystem. Alongside brainstorming sessions with Maruti Suzuki, domain teams helped in creating the right product fit, claimed the company.

For the third cohort of the MAIL programme, the company has selected four startups:

Dave.AI: Dave.AI helps brands build a virtual sales avatar to understand their customers, customer’s preferences and deliver a personalized value selling experience that improves profitable sales for the brand.

Rezo.AI: Rezo is an AI-powered platform that requires little human intervention and integrates across all channels – emails, social media, chats. It leverages natural language processing (NLP).

Fabrik: Fabrik is a creative portfolio platform that uses direct input of thousands of creatives that use the platform. Fabrik’s mission is to enable, support and celebrate creative talent.

ElectreeFi: ElectreeFi is an IoT based eMobility Technology Platform that has various components and offerings both for businesses and end customers.

According to Maruti Suzuki, with the inclusion of this batch of startups, MSIL is now engaged with 9 startups under its MAIL initiative.
